If you love wool, you'll knit it under any conditions -- even 100-degree temperatures.

Warm-Weather Wools

That's what many knitters do in Arizona using a hard-to-find superwash merino from Australia. This week I take it for a test drive and see what all the fuss is about. And on the other side of the U.S., we explore a Philadelphia must-visit: Sophie's Yarns.

Gratitude for Generosity

Last week I asked for stash donations on behalf of a fellow knitter who lost her home in a fire. Your outpouring of support has been tremendous. Already 37 generous readers have offered to share their stashes. Simply put: Thank you!

Coming Next Week!

Check out another warm-weather wool that's flying off the shelves in shops across the nation. Also, I'll announce the next winner of our newsletter subscriber giveaway, a $50 gift certificate to ForKnitters.com.

Happy knitting!

Sincerely,

LogoLike Clara, we are rather picky about our yarns. We strive to offer what we call "under-rated" yarns. That is, yarns we believe are of impeccable quality, interesting, and reasonably priced.

Now through May 31st, visit our exclusive Knitter's Review section and enjoy discounts of up to 40% off on yarns from Adrienne Vittadini, Grignasco, Berocco, and Skacel!
