In a sea of sock books, some stay afloat better than others. I've picked four recent releases that give you a solid foundation in the fundamentals.

In the Forums: Grab and Go Projects
Few things are worse than being caught without your knitting. One Forum member is proposing putting together her own "grab-and-go" kits and leaving them in several places, just in case. Has anyone else done this, and, if so, how do you decide what kits to put together?
