Knitter's Review
October 25, 2007
hanks of yarn on a barn wall at the festival
What could deep-fried pickles and a man astride two giant horses possibly have to do with knitting? If you were at the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival last weekend, everything. Join me for a full explanation and pictorial walk through the fairgrounds.

This Weekend
Readers near Asheville, North Carolina, will want to head over to the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center for the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair. It has all the trappings of a great fiber event, including a huge vendor marketplace, ongoing demonstrations and workshops, animal shows, a sheep to shawl demonstration, and even a beginner class on playing the harmonica!

In the Forums: Frogging Away
One Forum member is going through a particularly trying time with her projects. She's finding that the more she ventures into unknown territory, the more she ends up frogging (or unraveling) her work. She asks, is this the norm or just a phase?
