It took hours of discreet negotiating before I could walk off the TNNA show floor with this week's yarn. The buzz outside may have been all about Jenni's ice cream, but on the show floor people kept asking, "Have you touched the new Louet yarn yet?"

Not only did I touch it, but I was allowed to bring two precious skeins home with me on the plane. Meet Mooi.

This Weekend in Oregon
A common complaint from readers is that most of the great-sounding fiber festivals all take place on the East Coast. Not true, and especially not this weekend as the Black Sheep Gathering happens at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene, Oregon. Plan on spending some time at the sheep show judging if you'd like to learn more about wool than you ever realized you wanted to know.
