I love how adaptable knitting is. We can knit with a pair of sharpened pencils if need be, or we can use needles made from ebony, aluminum, casein, or even the carbon fiber composite used in race cars and fighter jets. Each material makes for a slightly different experience.

This week we look at some circular knitting needles that help you unleash your inner Cinderella. They're made in Oregon by Sheila and Michael Ernst using borosilicate glass, the original material in Pyrex. And yes, you really can knit with them.
