April 12, 2001

Traveling is always fun, especially from the comfort of your own home.

The Straight Road

This week we board our air-conditioned motorcoach for a journey deep into the heart of straight, single-pointed needle territory. We'll travel to Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Germany, and the United States.

Along the way, we'll see bamboo, birch, plastic, aluminum, ebony, and rosewood needles. If we're truly lucky, we might even spot a pair of rare, purple-billed Swallow casein needles!

Stylish Souvenirs

If you'd like to bring back souvenirs from our travels, Patternworks continues its generous 10% discount on all knitting needles -- an exclusive just for Knitter's Review readers.

To get your discount, simply mention code WKR2 when placing your order online or over the phone (at 800-438-5464), and you'll be given the discount. The offer ends May 3, 2001.

Subscribe and Win

Don't forget to subscribe to Knitter's Review if you haven't already. It's free, and on April 26th I'll announce the next lucky subscriber to win a $50 gift certificate from eKnitting.com!

Happy knitting!

Sincerely,
