Perhaps it's time to turn your knitterly eye to homewares. The notion of clothing our homes in yarn is hardly new—my grandma's knitted tea cozies and potholders are living proof. But the style in which we do it is constantly evolving.
Interweave Knits' recent U.S. re-release of Hand Knits for the Home is a beautiful collection of simple and contemporary knitted items for the home.
In the Boutique: Teed Off
During the warmer months, many of us take a break from our knitting. Instead of sweating the summer out in your heavy handknits, why not show your love for the craft with one of our knitting-themed T-shirts?
Fall Retreat Update
The third-annual Knitter's Review Retreat will take place November 5-7 in Syria, Virginia. Although the weekend spots are now booked, we do have a waiting list for anybody interested, and there's still room for Saturday visitors, so learn more and register to join us.
