Knitter's Review
March 30, 2006

An Elsa sampler swatch

I have a cardinal rule about yarn reviews: I only review what is easily available online. It'd be cruel to get you interested in a beautiful new material, only to discover that it's sold once a year at some faraway festival.

But I've finally snapped. The yarn in question is from Elsa Sheep and Wool Company. It's the same yarn I named "Yarn I'd Review in a Second If Their Web Site Were Working" in my 2005 Year in Review.

I do have an email address and telephone number for them, which I hereby declare sufficient. So this week I snip the tag off the skein and start swatching for a review.

In the Forums: Not Stuck on Socks?
One forum member timidly asks if she's the only one who's not entirely crazy about knitting socks?
