Knitter's Review

a sheep from the festival

Words are powerful. I've used them to tell the story of the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival for several years.

This year, I have a special treat. I take you beyond the word and into the actual sounds of the festival in a special audio report.

It's a big file, so if you're on dial-up and lose patience or don't have a way to listen to audio files, you can also view pictures from the festival and read a transcript of the report.

Calendar Highlight
If you missed Maryland last weekend and live in the New England area, you're in luck. This weekend is the 30th annual New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Festival at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Contoocook, New Hampshire.

In the Forums: The Sweater Conundrum
If you give handknits as gifts but seldom see the recipients actually wear the items, should you give up and only knit for yourself?
