Knitter's Review

New yarns from Sunday Knits

When a new yarn company enters the scene, you expect a lot of fanfare: press releases, glossy patterns, media blitzes, blog tours, the whole nine yards.

But Sunday Knits managed to sneak in under the radar, perhaps because it represents a new breed of yarn company that has no sales reps or distributors and sells only to the public. Let me introduce you to Sunday Knits yarns.

This Weekend in Wisconsin
Travel to Jefferson for the 7th annual Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival this weekend. Last year's festival had 500 sheep and more than 100 vendors, and this year looks to be even bigger. There are fiberarts classes, shepherd workshops, sheep contests, auctions, and special events for children.

In the Forum: Second-Sock Sandra
Second Sock Syndrome affects many knitters who end up with a large collection of sad and oh-so-solitary single socks. But not Sandra! She actually loves knitting that second sock. Have you ever experienced Second Sock Syndrome? Or are you more like Sandra? Do you actually enjoy knitting that second sock even more than the first?
