Knitter's Review
January 29, 2009
Possum yarn

Earlier this week it was -15 degrees. Today we're being pelted with ice and snow. Winter is not being easy this year.

My plan of attack? Wear the warmest fibers I can find. That would be cashmere, qiviut, and—conscience permitting—the extremely insulating fibers of a marsupial pest from New Zealand. I'm talking Possum, and that's where we go this week.

This Weekend in California
Griffin Dyeworks is holding its first-annual Fiber Frolic this Saturday from 10am to 6pm in La Crescenta. They'll have both formal and informal classes covering everything from natural dyeing to weaving, spinning, crochet, and rug hooking.

As always, I thank you for your readership and your support.

Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the Forums!
