How do you convey the heart and soul of the New York Sheep and Wool Festival, one of the country's largest and most venerable fiber gatherings?

Let me walk you through the show from A to Z, from apples and artichokes to yarn and the zoo. Can you guess what Q is?

This Weekend in Philadelphia
Calling all Philly area knitters, please join me at Loop this weekend. I'll be teaching my new book on Saturday morning, telling sock yarn stories in the afternoon, and signing books on Sunday from noon to 2pm. I'd love to see you there.

In the Forums: Kids or No Kids?
Jen's LYS has a weekly knit night, and sometimes people bring their children. While some of the children have been known to join in the knitting, others don't. The question up for debate: Should a non-knitting child be expected to give up his or her seat for a knitter?
